HOW CAN STRINGS AFFECT MUSIC

Strings is type of music involving instruments like Guitar and instruments such as Ukulele, Violin, Cello, Harp, & Bass. These kinds of instruments themselves are also called String Instrument. They are Strummed to produce acoustic/electric sounds, while the other instruments are struck/ Slapped to produce loud sounds like drums, or have keys that are depressed to produce notes such as piano. Woodwind instruments are blowed like flute, Strings have distinct voice than the rest instruments are mood uplifting and pleasing to ears and can help release Oxytocin!

Guitar

A stunning looking piece with strings attached to wood producing mellifluous music and comes in a 6 and 12 strings style. And it can be played either by plucking or strumming .

Bass

Davie 504’s fav. Instrument and it’s played by plucking string it produces a lower frequency sound than a guitar.

Violin

A stringed musical instrument of class and treble pitch, played with a stylish horsehair bow. The classical European violin was developed during 16th century. It has four strings and a body of characteristic rounded shape, narrowed at the middle and with two f- shaped soundholes.

Cello

A bass like instrument which comes from the violin family, it’s held upright and is placed on the floor between the legs of the person playing it and the player is seated. It’s a very classy instrument with a very big shape.

Harp

A musical instrument out of the greek god’s textbook consisting of a frame supporting a graduated series of shining parallel strings, played by plucking with the fingers. The modern orchestral harp has an upright frame, with pedals which enable the strings to be returned to different keys.

Mandolin

A musical instrument resembling a lute, having a pair of metal strings plucked with a plectrum. It has a characteristic to a tremolo when sustaining long notes.

Oud

A form of lute or mandolin played principally in Arab countries.

Shamisen

It is a traditional Japanese three-stringed lute with a square body, played with a large plectrum. And it’s a state of a class when played among in the old days.

Sitar

It is a very large instrument, with a long-neck Indian lute with movable frets, played with a wire pick.

Lute

A plucked stringed instrument just like guitar and bass with a long neck bearing frets and a oval rounded body with a flat front, rather like a halved egg in shape.

Veena

A very old Indian stringed instrument, with four main and three auxiliary strings in it. The southern type has a lute-like body; the older northern type has a tubular body and a gourd fitted to each end as a resonator.
